The UK Is Becoming Business Friendly Again
The UK has seen one of the largest outflows of millionaires and capital in recent years. But political shifts are starting to change the conversation again. This video breaks down the collapse of the non-dom regime, the rise of Reform UK, and why global entrepreneurs are watching Britain closely for 2029.
Transcript excerpt
In 2025, the UK has actually abolished the regime that it had for more than 226 years, and it was called the non-dom regime. And the non-dom regime allowed foreigners, so entrepreneurs, business owners, investors, etc., to not pay tax on money that is not remitted into the UK. So that means if you had an offshore structure outside of the UK, money in foreign bank accounts or investment accounts or an offshore business, you were not paying tax on the money that you didn't bring into the UK, which is obviously a very attractive regime and has led to the fact that London and the UK has become a global hub for business, entrepreneurs, and wealthier people.
