Dominica vs Grenada citizenship
Dominica and Grenada both grant citizenship, after due diligence, to applicants who make an approved fund contribution or real estate investment. Dominica's fund route starts at USD 200,000 for a single applicant; Grenada asks USD 235,000 for up to four family members and gives access to the US E-2 treaty after three years' domicile.

Our take
Dominica suits single applicants and small families who want the lowest contribution and real estate threshold and can accept a UK visa requirement and the current US visa restrictions.
Grenada suits families of up to four who want one fund contribution for all of them, and investors interested in the US E-2 treaty who can meet its domicile condition; its nationals visit the UK with an Electronic Travel Authorisation. Grenada's 2026 bill adds a presence rule and a five-year first passport once it takes effect.
Questions
Is Grenada or Dominica better for a family?
Grenada's fund contribution of USD 235,000 covers up to four family members. Dominica asks USD 250,000 for a main applicant with up to three dependants, plus USD 25,000 or USD 40,000 for each further one, so compare the total for your family.
Can a Grenada passport help with a US E-2 visa?
Grenada has an E-2 treaty with the United States, and Dominica does not. Investor citizens need three years' prior domicile in Grenada before they can use it, and the US consulate decides each E-2 application on its own merits.
Do I have to live in Dominica or Grenada?
Not under the rules in force today. A regional rule of 30 days within the first five years is pending for Dominica, and Grenada's 2026 bill sets the same 30 days, with at least five days in the first year; its start has been deferred.
