Which Bank Fits Which Business?
Not every business needs the same banking setup. From consultancies and SaaS companies to e-commerce, holding companies and multinationals, here’s how to match your business model with the right type of banking provider.

International consultancy. Go with an EMI, a payment company rather than a bank. You need cheap, fast international payments and flexible day-to-day payments. SaaS business. Go with a large global bank. When you hold larger balances and operate across several countries, safety and sophisticated payments do matter most. E-commerce business. Here I would go with a specialist business bank plus payment processing. You need an account and processor built for complex structures, multiple markets, and online transaction flows. Holding company. Go with a bank in the jurisdiction where the holding sits. It makes fewer day-to-day payments, so stability and structural fit matter more than the features itself. Multinational. In my opinion, this needs a tailored setup. Cross-border payroll and higher risk operations need a provider that is built to assess your actual profile. The pattern is simple. Choose the provider whose normal clients already look like your business.
