Fastest Bank Accounts by Country (Tier List)
A tier list of how fast a bank account can be opened in Georgia, the USA, Switzerland, the UK, Panama and the UAE, and why the quickest account is not always the right one.
Transcript excerpt
In which jurisdiction can you get a bank account opened the fastest? Georgia. A tier. Moves fast, but only if you have a local entity or PE status. Without that, it takes two to four weeks, and remote openings get a lot harder. USA. S tier. Via a neo bank like Mercury, your US LLC account can be opened in days. For brick-and-mortar banks, it actually takes a lot longer. Switzerland. In terms of speed, F tier. Hard due diligence, capital requirements, and in order to get operational, you need weeks, but can be worth it. UK. Absolute S tier. A UK EMI can onboard a clean company structure in under 24 hours. London's the finance capital. Panama. B tier. Opening the account is quick and easy. Moving money internationally after is where it gets a bit tricky. UAE. D tier. The bottleneck isn't the bank, it's the residency permit. No residency permit, no account. However, the quickest account to open isn't always the right one.
